At The Drive In announce first album in 17 years & debut new song
AT THE DRIVE IN have confirmed their first studio album release in 17 years!
Acclaimed Texas post-hardcore quintet AT THE DRIVE IN have announced plans to release their first new album in 17 years, their first since 2000’s seminal Relationship Of Command. Following on from the release of new track Governed by Contagions back in December, the band have now revealed that they will release their fourth studio full-length in May, and that it will be entitled in • ter a • li • a (“among other things” in Latin). The album is being helmed by guitarist Omar Rodriguez-Lopez and producer Rich Costey at Hollywood’s Sound Factory, and is set to feature 11-songs clocking in at 41-minutes in total.
A new song, entitled Incurably Innocent, has also been revealed, which vocalist Cedric Bixler-Zavala describes as “a song about sexual abuse and being able to finally speak out”.

The album’s release is set to be followed by a run of US and Canadian tour dates from March until June. The band will then head to Europe for appearances at festivals in Austria, Portugal, Belgium and the UK – where they will appear at August’s Reading & Leeds Festivals. Full dates can be seen below:
