Bloodstock announces another stack of bands!

Another stack of bands have been confirmed for this year’s Bloodstock Festival!

The rise of the UK’s HEART OF A COWARD has been admirable in recent years and now, the band have landed themselves a slot on the Ronnie James Dio stage on Sunday.

Joining HEART OF A COWARD in the announcement is four new additions to the Sophie Lancaster stage. German symphonic metallers BEYOND THE BLACK, progressive sludge outfit BOSS KELOID, FURY, VODUN and THE RAVEN AGE will also perform at this year’s festival.

Metal 2 The Masses, the yearly competition for upcoming talent to perform at Bloodstock, has been reaching it’s conclusions across the country and the festival have announced some of the winners who will perform on the Hobgoblin New Blood stage across the weekend. Announced to perform are WITCH TRIPPER, GARGANJUA, CONJURER, VENDETTA and FAR FROM HISTORY.

Already announced for 2016 are the three headliners, TWISTED SISTER (in their last ever UK show), MASTODON and SLAYER, plus special guests BEHEMOTH, GOJIRA and ANTHRAX.  Also on the bill are FEAR FACTORY, CORROSION OF CONFORMITY, SYMPHONY X, SATYRICON, PARADISE LOST, DRAGONFORCE, METAL ALLEGIANCE, STUCK MOJO, ROTTING CHRIST, MISERY LOVES CO, AKERCOCKE, GHOST BATH, VENOM, UNEARTH, DIAMOND HEAD, GOATWHORE, ACID REIGN and many more.  Additional bands are still to be announced.

Bloodstock Open Air Festival takes place from August 11th-14th 2016.
