Dark Tranquillity release new music video for ‘The Pitiless’
Swedish melodic death metallers DARK TRANQUILLITY have released a brand new music video!
The music video is for the track The Pitiless, which is taken from the band’s upcoming record, Atoma. Speaking about the single and video, the band comments, “selecting the first single from an album as diverse as Atoma is always a hard task, but we felt that The Pitiless gives a good representation of the general vibe of the material. It’s fast, melodic and with a sense of urgency that permeates the whole album. Enjoy!”

The video was filmed at Turock Open Air Festival in Germany and was directed by Dirk Behlau. Atoma was recorded at Rogue Music in Gothenburg, the studio owned by the band’s keyboardist Martin Brändström. Mixing duties were handled by David Castillo [KATATONIA, OPETH, CANDLEMASS]. Following the release of the album in November, the band will embark on a headlining tour of North America with SWALLOW THE SUN, ENFORCER and STARKILL. A European tour in early 2017 will be announced soon. Tour dates are as follows:
