Download Festival adds 36 new bands

36 new acts have been added to the lineup of Download Festival 2016!

Joining headliners RAMMSTEINBLACK SABBATH and IRON MAIDEN will be SIXX A.M, AMON AMARTH, MONSTER TRUCK, NOFX, JANE’S ADDICTION, GRAVEYARD, BURY TOMORROW, AS LIONS, ONE OK ROCK, PERIPHERY, ALIEN ANT FARM, GRAND MAGUS, WHISKEY MYERS, HECK, ZOAX, HILL VALLEY HIGH, ANTI-FLAG, ESCAPE THE FATE, DANKO JONES, TURBOWOLF, BLACK PEAKS, SHVPES, ELECTRIC WIZARD, THE KING IS BLIND, KADAVAR, MUNICIPAL WASTE, CANE HILL, SLAVES (US), WAGE WAR, PALISADES, REIGNING DAYS, STRANGE BONES, GOOD TIGER, ASHESTOANGELS, THE KENNETHS and MUNCIE GIRLS

Organisers also confirmed that the event’s Main Stage would be renamed The Lemmy Stage in honour of the MOTÖRHEAD frontman, who passed away in December. A tribute is also in the works to fill what would have been the band’s slot on Friday’s Main Stage bill at the festival.
