Doyle to appear in horror movie Death Ward 13!

Doyle is set to star in a remake of the horror movie Don’t Look in the Basement, entitled Death Ward 13.

The legendary guitarist, best known for being in MISFITS, and in more recent days his solo project DOYLE, will appear in the remake, which is currently in pre-production. Not only is he starring in the horror flick, but he is also currently in talks with the film’s producers, and Monsterman Records’ co-founder Bruce Miyaki, to organise the punk legend to write music tracks for the movie’s soundtrack. Speaking about the upcoming role, Doyle says, “I’m looking forward to starting my movie career with a starring role in Death Ward 13.  It’s time to release the beast on the big screen. Let the killing begin!”

When he isn’t preparing for being on the big screen, the guitarist is still creating new music under his current self-titled solo project, fronted by CANCERSLUG creator and vocalist, Alex Story. With their 2013 album Abominator receiving strongly positive feedback amongst fans old and new, the band are set on releasing their newest album As We Die, which is scheduled to be released in May.

As We Die is set for release on May 5th via Monsterman Records/EMP Label Group.
