Enter Shikari announce UK tour

Fresh from headlining the second stage at this year’s Download Festival last Sunday, electronic rock titans ENTER SHIKARI have announced their biggest UK tour to date in support of their fourth album The Mindsweep.

Set to take place next February, the tour will see Rou Reynolds and co. take in venues such as the Motorpoint Arena in Cardiff and London’s Alexandra Palace, with pop-punk giants The Wonder Years as special guests.

Frontman Rou Reynolds had this to say on the subject of the tour, “It’s difficult to summon the words, we’re inexpressibly excited for these shows! Before booking an ‘arena-sized’ tour we wanted to wait until we were able to book as many ‘flat-floored’ standing venues as possible up and down the UK, as there’s nothing rock ’n’ roll about sitting at a gig 100 meters from the stage. As much as is possible, these venues should feel like normal Shikari shows but swollen in size – the communal aspect of the shows should still stay intact!”
