Jeff Ament’s RNDM to release second album

PEARL JAM guitarist Jeff Ament has revealed a second album from his side-project RNDM!

Entitled Ghost Riding, the album is due for release on March 4th through Dine Alone Records. It has so far been described as “an 11-track eclectic, but cohesive collection of songs, channeling influences from Bowie, and featuring electro-industrial, indie-rock, blues-inspired and even a few funkier tracks“.

Also comprised of singer/songwriter Joseph Arthur and THE FASTBACKS/WAR BABIES drummer Richard Stuverud, the band released their debut effort Acts in 2012.

Two tracks from RNDM have been released so far – STRAY and Ghost Riding.

Of the title-track, Ament says: Ghost Riding embodies what we went after on this record: pushing ourselves creatively with new songwriting approaches, unique sounds, groove and uncomfortable instrumentation… Joseph wrote a great take of longing of childhood past, really beautiful words”

You can listen to both songs below:

The band will also be embarking on a US tour to promote the album, the dates for which are as follows:

March 4 – The Crocodile, Seattle

March 7 – Gramercy Theater, NYC

March 8 – Rock N Hotel, DC

March 9 – The Foundry At The Fillmore, Philadelphia

March 11 – Brighton Music Hall, Boston

March 13 – Mod Club, Toronto

March 15 – Double Door, Chicago
