Korpiklaani to release first DVD and Live CD

Finnish act KORPIKLAANI have announced that they are working on their first DVD.

The DVD is said to contain live footage from two shows in 2015, with additional live footage from their upcoming show in Amsterdam due to be filmed this year.

Some of the footage has been filmed in Volta, Moscow when the band performed there in April 2015, as well as their Teatro Vorterix show in Buenos Aires last December.

Alongside the DVD there will be a brand new live CD.

KORPIKLAANI’s frontman Jonne Järvelä said about the announcement:

“Finally we can release our first ever DVD, with not just one show but from some of our favourite cities and festivals. We are also recording all shows on our upcoming tour for a bonus live CD, along with the recent tours in 2015. This will be the first of many more to come in the future!”

KORPIKLAANI’s DVD and CD will be due out late 2016/early 2017.
