More acts announced for Bloodstock Festival 2016

A load more bands have been confirmed for Bloodstock Festival 2016!

Organisers of Bloodstock Festival have added a lot of new bands to this year’s billing this morning.

Firstly, the infamous Thursday ‘party night’ will now include Norse death/thrash outfit, SUBLIME EYES, tech/deathsters KARYBDIS, post-prog metal five-piece SUMER and Dublin thrashers PSYKOSIS. They’ll all join previously-announced headliners PHILL CAMPBELL’S ALL-STARR BAND in kicking off the festival in style.

Added to the Main Stage billing for Friday are Anglo-Swiss fantasy power-metallers GLORYHAMMER and Welsh power-trio HARK. Leicester doomsters MAGE and London horror-metallers THE HERETIC ORDER have also been confirmed for Saturday slots on the Sophie Lancaster Stage, as have Exeter metallers SANGUINE and Finnish epic melodic death-metallers WHISPERED on the Sunday.

Also included in this morning’s announcement are a selection of winners from the annual Metal 2 The Masses competition, with the grand prize being a slot of the Hobgoblin New Blood Stage. Added to this stage are death/thrash outfit SOULS OF JACK KETCH, Welsh black metal outfit AGRONA, Mancunian death metallers AFTER THE ABDUCTION and VISIONS OF DISFIGUREMENTBLACK INK SUN, groove metallers I SAW THE WORLD BURN, Swindon’s HERIOT, prog metal outfit PTEROGLYPH and and Liverpool death metallers EXHUMATION.

These newly announced acts join a massive lineup that boasts headliners TWISTED SISTERMASTODON and SLAYER and performances from the likes of BEHEMOTH, ANTHRAX, GOJIRA, ROTTING CHRIST, VENOM, DRAGONFORCE, PARADISE LOST and more!

Bloodstock Open Air 2016 takes place from August 11th-14th. Weekend tickets with camping, plus various VIP packages for Bloodstock Open Air 2016 are still available from the official Bloodstock website.
