Motorowl sign worldwide deal with Century Media Records

Young up and coming 1970s rock influenced German quintet MOTOROWL have now been signed to a worldwide deal with Century Media Records.

MOTOROWL formed in 2014 when the band members were in their very late teens, creating a bewitching approach to doom, stoner rock and metal sounding way beyond their years. They bring the best influences of URIAN HEEP, and DEEP PURPLE crossed with SPIRITUAL BEGGARS. Blending a compelling gloomy twist, and catchy guitar riffs; underpinned with a Hammond Organ grind adding a touch of prog rock flavour.

Fabian Hildebrandt, co-producer of Om Generator said, “Congratulations to my buddies from MOTOROWL! It does say something, when a band goes from a rancid rehearsal room in Gera straight away to touring with BOMBUS, and even manages to convince a label as renowned as Century Media. I still remember vividly, how they asked me to record their album. Initially, I was rather critical, but after I saw them live I immediately knew that I HAD TO. Stunning… extremely young, no idea about nothing, yet insanely talented! MOTOROWL are a true rock band and I am curious to see, where the future journey of Daniel, Martin, Max, Tim and Vinz will take them.”

It was only a matter of time touring with such bands as JEX THOTH and PATH OF SAMSARA, demonstrating their shimmering musicianship perfectly before they got signed. They have recently played Germany’s MACH Festival with more tour dates to be announced soon.

The band bring an enthusiastic approach to their music, which can clearly be heard in their debut album Om Generator – which is out now on Bandcamp, but will also be released via Century Media on August 26th 2016.
