It has been announced that MUNICIPAL WASTE, one of the earliest bands to come out of the 21st century thrash revival scene – have brought in a new band member in the form of Nick Polous.
He will take the band into being a four piece outfit, which will no doubt add an extra layer to their already finely honed blend of thrash metal. Guitarist Ryan Waste said, “Guitarist Ryan Waste comments: “Nick joining the Waste is a big deal for us, we couldn’t just add anyone to the fold. It had to be a close friend, and he’s one of our best buds in fact. It doesn’t hurt that he can play his ass off too! He gets our style and totally adds to it, making us an even heavier force to be reckoned with. We’re all having a blast working together, cooking up new tunes and pulling out some classic Waste cuts for this upcoming UK tour and Download Festival!”
Nick has played in a few bands, notably BAT, VOLTURE, and PARASYTIC where he has honed his skills over the years; who also played in CANNABIS CORPSE with Phil Hall (aka Land Phil). A band well known for writing songs based on witty herb based tributes to CANNIBAL CORPSE. with albums such as Tube of The Resinated and Blunted at Birth.
You can catch MUNICIPAL WASTE on their headline tour which kicks off with a performance at this year’s Download Festival.
