Wintersun to Play New Song on North American Tour

Melodic death metal titans Wintersun have revealed that they will play a brand new track from the upcoming ‘Time II’ on their North American Tour later this year. The track entitled ‘The Way of the Fire’ will be the first chance fans get a taster of the second part of the ‘Time’ series.

Wintersun have this to state on the matter via their official Facebook page

“Dear fans & Wintersun maniacs,
we had a voting online recently in which we asked whether you would like to hear a new song from TIME II – and the answer was very clear. We want to thank everyone for voting and being a part of the upcoming WINTERSUN live set. On the upcoming North American Tour we are exclusively going to play the new song The Way Of The Fire for you live!”

Wintersun gained legions of fans following the release of ‘Wintersun’ back in 2004 and fans have waited eagerly for the band’s next studio offering. ‘Time I’ released in 2012 achieved critical acclaim and the band’s next offering ‘Time II’ is set to be released in 2014.

Wintersun are touring the UK this July and then a extensive North American tour later this year.
