2000trees Festival have revealed more bands for this year’s festival!
The festival has unveiled its second main stage headliner for the 2026 edition, alongside more than 30 newly announced acts. The multi‑award‑winning festival takes place 8th-11th July at Upcote Farm near Cheltenham, spanning five stages, including the iconic Forest Stage.
Joining already‑announced headliners ALKALINE TRIO, the festival will welcome FUNERAL FOR A FRIEND as a 2026 UK show exclusive. Marking their first 2000trees appearance in over 13 years, the Welsh emo legends will celebrate their approaching 25th anniversary with a fully stacked headline performance.
Speaking about the headline announcement, Ryan Richards of FUNERAL FOR A FRIEND says, “headlining 2000trees feels incredibly special for us. As we head into the 25th anniversary year of the band, we’re very conscious that at this stage in our career we only want to do things that genuinely mean something – things we’ve not done before – and this is absolutely one of them. 2000trees is one of our favourite festivals in the UK. It’s always carefully curated, surrounded by like‑minded bands and peers, and set in beautiful surroundings that makes the whole experience feel unique. To be part of it in this way is something we’re hugely proud of.”
Alongside FUNERAL FOR A FRIEND, the festival have announced the following bands for this year’s lineup: MARMOZETS, ARCANE ROOTS, MILITARIE GUN, THE SCRATCH, MARIACHI EL BRONX, THE BRONX, AS EVERYTHING UNFOLDS, PETROL GIRLS, THE SKINTS, A, ANTHONY GREEN, DEAD PIONEERS, ARCANE ROOTS (acoutic), RECLUS.É, VINNIE CARUANA, EAST EXCHANGE, GALLUS, BIG TRUCK, GREYWIND, NERVUS, TWAT UNION, MELANIE BAKER, BEAUTY SLEEP, BUDS., DOSS, GOO, HAPPYDAZE, HAMMOK, HIGHDRIVE, SMUG LLC, STILL IN LOVE, STRESS POSITIONS, TOOTH and ASHAINE WHITE.
Speaking about the new announcement, festival organiser James Scarlett adds, “having FUNERAL FOR A FRIEND return to 2000trees for the first time since 2013, after growing to a legendary status – and fronted by Lucas from HOLDING ABSENCE, an absolute staple of 2000trees – feels like the perfect summary of what this festival is about. As their only show of 2026 and guaranteed to be jammed full of the hits, this is not to be missed for any FUNERAL FOR A FRIEND fan! I’m also over the moon to be adding even more quality to the festival bill with this announcement.
