PREMIERE: Terrible Things Are Happening As We Speak (CLT DRP Remix) – CLT DRP

We here at Distorted Sound are delighted to premiere a new remixed song from the wicked CLT DRP!

The song, Terrible Things Are Happening As We Speak, from the excellent SUGAR HORSE is originally taken from their brand new album, The Live Long After, which was released last month. Now, the song has been given a remix from labelmates CLT DRP and we here at Distorted Sound are delighted to give the remix its official premiere!

Speaking about the remix, CLT DRP tells us, “this SUGAR HORSE track completely knocked me for six when I first heard it. The contrast in sections blew me away and it was super fun to have such a varying array of timbre at my disposal. Obviously, drawn by the sheer monstrous guitar sounds, I decided to start reworking those and it just kinda followed on from there… “

SUGAR HORSE adds, “CLT DRP are one of the most exciting and startlingly original guitar based bands we’ve ever heard. It is an honour…no, a privilege to have them completely destroying one of our songs. The messed up collage they’ve turned this downright miserable song into is not only shockingly joyous, but also a complete banger. Where the eccies at?”
