Bloodstock Festival announce 12 new bands

12 new bands have been announced for this year’s Bloodstock Festival!

After announcing the likes of KILLING JOKE, ALL HAIL THE YETI, CATTLE DECAPITATION, ORBIT CULTURE and more last month, now, the UK’s biggest metal festival have confirmed another 12 bands for this year’s festival!

Leading the charge in the latest announcement are Swedish rabblerousers AVATAR, who land a slot on Friday’s Sophie Lancaster Stage bill. Joining them that day are US metalcore band THROWN INTO EXILE. Saturday, the Sophie Stage features PUPIL SLICER and hardcore/crossover thrash newcomers (feat. members of TESSERACT and ETHS) CAGE FIGHT. Sunday’s Sophie Lancaster Stage will be bolstered by nu-metal veterans ILL NINO, Manchester hardcore outfit GUILT TRIP, hard rockers SKARLETT RIOT, and progressive groove/sludge outfit DESERT STORM.

Over on the Ronnie James Dio Stage, Iowa upstarts VENDED are set to kick off proceedings on Sunday’s billing whilst epic Swedish doomsters SORCERER and industrial metalheads RED METHOD are also both added to Friday’s bill. Landing a early morning on Saturday’s main stage billing is Danish death metallers BAEST.

Bloodstock Festival 2022 is set to take place at Catton Park, Derbyshire from 11th August – 14th August 2022. Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased here.
