Solence announce new album ‘_hope is a cult_’
SOLENCE have announced a new album!
Titled _hope is a cult_, the upcoming album from the Swedish electropop-metal band is the follow-up to last year’s Deafening, and is scheduled to be released in February next year, via Hopeless Records.
Speaking about the upcoming album, the band says, “we’re so extremely excited to finally be able to share _hope is a cult_ with all the SOLENCE family…and the not yet inaugurated ones!! We’ve worked so hard and so long on this and we truly feel like this is such an important step for us in our journey to write the most ‘SOLENCE‘ of songs that we can write. This album goes up, down, sideways, then we solo for a bit, and then it’s head-banging and big choruses! We’re super proud of this and hope you’re as excited as we are for _hope is a cult_!!!”
Alongside the announcement of the new album, the band have released a new music video for a new song lifted from the upcoming album; nuBlood. The new song features a guest appearance from FAME ON FIRE vocalist Bryan Kuznitz.
Speaking about the new song, the band says, “nuBlood is a song about all the old dudes starting wars and oppressing people just to be able to cling on to their puny power! Just step aside. Your time is up. Out with the old, in with the new. nuBlood is also a straight-up banger so hold on ‘cuz this chorus is like sticking your head out the window whilst driving 100mph on the freeway!”
