Dawn Of Ouroboros announce new album ‘Velvet Incandescence’
DAWN OF OUROBOROS have announced a new album!
Titled Velvet Incandescence, the upcoming album from the American blackened progressive metal five-piece is the follow-up to 2020’s The Art Of Morphology, and is scheduled to be released in April this year, via Prosthetic Records.
The band came together in November 2021 to commence recording of Velvet Incandescence, once again opting to team up with Nick Loiacono at Fang Studios in San Mateo, CA for recording and mixing, before being mastered by Jack Shirley [DEAFHEAVEN, OATHBREAKER, BOSSE DE NAGE] at The Atomic Garden Studio.
Alongside the announcement of the new album, the band have released a new music video for a new song lifted from the upcoming album; Rise From Disillusion. The new music video was first premiered via Knotfest.
Speaking about the new song, and the upcoming album, guitarist/synths Tony Thomas comments, “we are happy to reveal the first song, Rise From Dissolution, from our upcoming album. We hope to have developed on our brand of harsh beauty. Bringing emotionally aggressive genre-bending metal mixed with plenty of dynamics.”
