Can’t Swim release new track ‘Quitting’
New Jersey rockers CAN’T SWIM have released a brand new song!
The new song, titled Quitting, and is taken from their debut album Fail You Again, which is set for release in March. Speaking about the new song, frontman Chris LoPorto says, “Quitting came together in a quite peculiar way. I had the first part of the song written for a while but when I showed the band they thought it needed a more anthemic ending. We were already in the studio at the time so I walked into the other room to try and write some lyrics for it. I had been recording vocals all day, so the microphone was accidentally left on. When I walked back into the room to show the guys my progress, the mic picked up the conversation, and if you listen closely we put that exact clip in the bridge of the song. It’s one of my favourite songs off our new record cause we all sang on it and we all were apart of the writing progress. I like that it’s a change of pace from the rest the songs and gives us another dynamic to explore when we play live.”
