Lume Festival have revealed the lineup for their inaugural event!

Set to take place on Saturday, April 15th across three venues in Camden Town, London (The UnderworldThe Black Heart, and Camden Eye), the emerging event intends to be a brand new multi-venue event with a strong focus on representing women, LGBTQ+ and POC.

The bands confirmed for the inaugural festival are headliners DREAM STATE whilst the likes of GRAPHIC NATUREBLACK ORCHID EMPIRETETHERLAKE MALICE and BAMBIE THUG will all perform throughout the day in April.

Also confirmed to perform at the festival is DELAIRE THE LIARLED BY LANTERNSSNAKE EYESLIZZY FARRALLYOUR MISERYCALL TO THE FAITHFULMOSKITOYOUTH ILLUSIONBLIGHT TOWNLUCKY HITSAN DEMAS and NEVERSAID. There will also be DJ sets from Alyx Holcombe and Sean Smith.

Speaking about performing at the festival, Jessie Powell of DREAM STATE says, “as a woman who hasn’t always felt welcome in the metal scene, it’s really important to me to headline the very first Lume Festival. I’m so excited to see so many females playing this festival – it’s almost as though the scene today can’t get enough of girl fronted bands! I can’t wait for this festival to grow year on year and to look back on this event and feel proud to have been part of it.”

Speaking about the inaugural event, Lauren Bell, co-founder of Lume Festival and owner of Passion For Talent Management says, “when I started working in the music industry, particularly on the live side of things, I learnt very quickly that it’s very much ‘the boys club’. When Adam and I first talked about doing Lume Festival, we both agreed on wanting to provide opportunities for women, LGBTQ+ individuals and POC so that we were able to launch a festival that is both diverse and inclusive for all. This is also why the majority of our crew are women. Lume Festival is here to lead by example on the importance of lineups and events crew no longer being male dominated.”
