Giveaway release new song ‘Shoulders’

GIVEAWAY have released a new song!

Titled Shoulders, it is the first new music from the Bay Area-based alternative emo outfit since their 2021 self-titled debut EP and comes after the death of their original vocalist Sam.

Speaking about the new song, the band comment, “Shoulders is a song about survivor’s guilt. It’s about the feeling that happens simultaneously with loss and grief – where you have lost so much and time keeps going forward. We wrote the song after our friend Sam passed away, we felt like he was a moment in time and we were only getting older. He was forever going to be the same age. In a time where we didn’t know if we were going to keep writing music, we wrote Shoulders.”
