John J. Presley releases new song ‘Sinnerman’
JOHN J. PRESLEY has released a new song!
Titled Sinnerman, it is the first new music from the Brighton-based multi-instrumentalist since his 2019 debut As The Night Draws In. The track features Laura-Mary Carter of BLOOD RED SHOES, and offers a first glimpse at his upcoming new album Chaos & Calypso, which is scheduled to be released in October this year via God Unknown Records.
Speaking about the new song, Presley comments, “Sinnerman is a result of bad advice, crippling swirling illness and our reliance on big pharma. Cycles of societal problems with no solid plan for the future depress and feed the anxious state. I made it out, thankfully. Having Laura-Mary Carter sing on the track was perfect. We toured with BLOOD RED SHOES a few years back and have remained friends ever since. She’s a real force, the real deal.”

Speaking about Chaos & Calypso, Presley adds, “The album is coming through God Unknown Records later in the year. Feels good to be on a label with a collective of similar artists, like my long time compadre Duke Garwood. Big thanks to Jason Stolly at God Unknown for his passion to support.”
More details will be available soon, but you can view the artwork for the upcoming album below.
Chaos & Calypso is set for release on October 20th via God Unknown Records. Pre-orders are available now and can be purchased here.
