Hypoxia announce new album ‘Defiance’
HYPOXIA have announced a new album!
Titled Defiance, the upcoming album from the American death metal band is the follow-up to 2019’s Abhorrent Disease, and is scheduled to be released in February this year, via Selfmadegod Records.
The upcoming album was mixed and mastered by Noah Buchanan at Mercinary Studios [MIDNIGHT, EMBALMER, NUNSLAUGHTER] and completed with cover art by Daemorph [THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER, PYREXIA, AVULSED].
Alongside the announcement of the new album, the band have released a new song from the upcoming album; Bleed For Blasphemy. Speaking about the new song, vocalist Mike Hrubovcak says, “although the cover artwork idea was created from the lyrics for the song Scorched And Skinned, we felt that Bleed For Blasphemy was a stronger song for the first single, but with a similar concept. Both songs touch on the idea of rebellion and defiance for what you believe is right, even if it means bleeding, suffering, and dying for it.”
