Banks Arcade announce new EP ‘A Muse’
BANKS ARCADE have announced a new EP!
Titled A Muse, the upcoming EP from the Australian alternative metalcore band is the follow-up to February’s DEATH 2 EP, and is scheduled to be released in June this year, via UNFD.
Speaking about the upcoming EP, the band says, “A Muse follows on from DEATH 2 in a much more vulnerable way. It covers a lot of personal issues from relationships to internal struggles and in each song I tried to speak with my own voice as much as possible as opposed to the more abstract stuff on DEATH 2.”
Alongside the announcement of the new EP, the band have released a new song from the upcoming EP; Heartstop. The new song is the second single to be released from the upcoming EP, following on from Self Help, which was released last month.
Speaking about the new song, the band says, “Heartstop is a sassy breakup rock anthem. It’s got a bit of ‘fuck you’ to it, but really it’s just a fun song that was made to make people dance and forget about that asshole that broke their heart.”
