Tungsten release new music video for ‘Vantablack’

TUNGSTEN have released a new music video!

The new music video, for the track Vantablack, is taken from the Swedish power/symphonic metal band’s upcoming new album, The Grand Inferno, which is scheduled to be released in October this year, via Reigning Phoenix Music.

Speaking about the new song, and its accompanying music video. guitarist/vocalist Nick Johansson, who even filmed and directed the music video, says, Vantablack is actually our oldest song. It was originally written in 2016 under the moniker Strokkur, the band name we had before changing it to TUNGSTEN. A slightly different demo version of the song was recorded but never released. We wrote so many new songs for our debut album We Will Rise, so the song was simply forgotten until now.”

Vocalist Mike Andersson adds, “a year ago we played the demo version of this song for Patrick, the president of our fan site on social media [Tungsten Fans Worldwide] and he immediately insisted that we should do a proper recording of the song and include it on our next album. We loved the song ourselves, so we decided to do so as an homage to our friend who started the TUNGSTEN fan site. Thanks to him lots of TUNGSTEN friends have found each other around the world and started various TUNGSTEN fan sites in lots of different countries,” explains singer Mike Andersson the song’s history more detailed.”
