High Reeper release new music video for ‘Alluring Violence’

HIGH REEPER have released a new music video!

The new music video, for the track Alluring Violence, is taken from the Philadelphia-based heavy rock band’s upcoming new album, Renewed By Death, which is scheduled to be released in October this year, via Heavy Psych Sounds.

The new music video was directed by Dan Dome, and was first premiered via Metal Injection.

Speaking about the new song, vocalist Zach Thomas says, “in an interview in 1992 Cormac McCarthy said ‘There is no such thing as life without bloodshed.’ Simple on its surface but it has stuck with me throughout the entire writing process of Renewed By Death and inspired the title itself. The layers of this quote, peeled back, speaks so much more to humanity. We fear death yet we’re obsessed with it. It’s embedded into our being. It finds as much comfort in our household as it does on a battlefield because we’re infatuated with it. Alluring Violence is about that infatuation. The human obsession with violence.”
