Marjana Semkina releases new music video for ‘Anything But Sleep’

MARJANA SEMKINA has released a new music video!

The new music video, for the track Anything But Sleep, is taken from the IAMTHEMORNING vocalist’s new solo album, Sirin, which was released back in May, via self-release. The new song features a guest appearance from CALIGULA’S HORSE‘s Jim Grey.

Speaking about working with Jim Grey, Marjana shares, “I’m so thrilled with this collaboration – Jim has one of the most beautiful voices and hearing him on my song and singing with him was such a special experience.”

On the single and video, she continues, “the song in my true fashion is about a dead girl haunting her abusive former lover and gradually driving him insane (something I definitely will do when I die) and the music video was produced in collaboration with the wonderful Cinebuds in The Netherlands over a very stormy summer weekend. Jim‘s footage was kindly provided by the old friend Adrian Goleby. Overall I think it’s my favourite music video I’ve ever done and what a joy it is to be able to work with so many incredibly talented people.”
