Elvenking announce new album ‘Reader Of The Runes – Luna’
ELVENKING have announced a new album!
Titled Reader Of The Runes – Luna, the upcoming album from the Italian power/folk metal band is the follow-up to 2023’s Reader Of The Runes – Rapture, and is scheduled to be released in April next year, via Reaper Entertainment.
“We are incredibly proud of how this trilogy comes to an epic conclusion,” explains guitarist Aydan. “Luna combines the medieval aura of Divination with the dark threat of Rapture. In this final chapter, everything is revealed — the identity of the Rune Reader and the connections between all the characters.”
Lead vocalist Damna adds, “it’s been a long journey, starting back in 2018, and now we bring the story to its peak. The music in Luna is mysterious, melancholic, but also incredibly epic. We’re proud to have created a work that offers fans the conclusion they deserve.”
Alongside the announcement of the new album, ELVENKING have released a brand new song from the upcoming album; Throes Of Atonement. Describing the new song, Damna says it is, “flaming and uplifting — a perfect introduction to the final stage of our epic saga.”
