Noisepicker announce new album ‘The Earth Will Swallow The Sun’

NOISEPICKER have announced a new album!

Titled The Earth Will Swallow The Sun, the upcoming album from the bluesy doom metal band is the long-awaited follow-up to 2018’s Peace Off, and is scheduled to be released in March next year, via Exile On Mainstream.

In true DIY style, band mastermind Harry Armstrong [ORANGE GOBLIN] took on the challenge of writing, recording and mixing this new record entirely himself, with recording sessions taking place in rehearsal rooms, and mixing sessions in his kitchen – and was assisted only in the mastering, which was handled by Stefan Brüggemann.

Alongside the announcement of the new album, the band have released a new music video for a new song lifted from the upcoming album; What You Deserve. Speaking about the new song and its accompanying music video, Armstrong shares, “the video was filmed at the stunning UT Connewitz theatre in Leipzig during the EOM record labels 25th birthday celebrations in 2024. The theatre is a thing of absolute beauty and wears it’s scars on its sleeves for all to see. Abused and mistreated for many years, it was finally rescued by local music enthusiasts and brought back to life – to stand defiant in the face of adversity. I feel this suits the song perfectly. It is a song about revenge without apology, and the theatre has an aura that its own revenge is fully in motion, and that the outcome, no matter how brutal, it will be justified!”
