Memphis May Fire announce new album ‘Shapeshifter’
MEMPHIS MAY FIRE have announced a new album!
Titled Shapeshifter, the upcoming album from the Texas-based metalcore band is the follow-up to 2022’s Remade In Misery, and is scheduled to be released in March this year, via Rise Records.
Alongside the announcement of the new album, the band have released a new music video for a new song lifted from the upcoming album; Overdose.
The new song features a guest appearance from BLINDSIDE vocalist Christian Lindskog and is the latest single to be released from the upcoming album, following on from Chaotic, Infection, Hell Is Empty, Paralyzed, Necessary Evil and Shapeshifter.
Speaking about the new song, vocalist Matty Mullins shares, “Overdose is about the intoxicating nature of extremes — how easy it is to get addicted to the highs of life, no matter the consequences. It’s a song for anyone who’s ever pushed boundaries too far, chased the rush, and grappled with the fallout. Christian Lindskog has always been a bucket list guest vocalist for me and it’s an absolute honour to have his iconic style gracing this track.”
