Imperishable announce new album ‘Swallowing The World’
IMPERISHABLE have announced a new album!
Titled Swallowing The World, the upcoming album from the Swedish death metal band is the follow-up to 2023’s Come, Sweet Death, and is scheduled to be released in April this year, via Hammerheart Records.
For the new album, the band teamed up with Andy LaRocque at Sonic Train Studios [AT THE GATES, LORD BELIAL, KING DIAMOND], who handled recording, mixing, and mastering duties for Swallowing The World.
Alongside the announcement of the new album, the band have released a new music video for a new song lifted from the upcoming album; Bells.
Speaking about the new song, the band shares, “musically and lyrically, Bells captures a deep sense of longing for what could have been. It tells the story of someone trapped in addiction, a recurring theme for us, who suddenly confronts the devastating reality of their situation. The song reflects the overwhelming horror and sorrow of realizing that their dreams have been broken along the way.”
