Komatsu announce new album ‘A Breakfast For Champions’
KOMATSU have announced a new album!
Titled A Breakfast For Champions, the upcoming album from the Dutch stoner/sludge metal band is the follow-up to 2021’s Rose Of Jericho, and is scheduled to be released in April this year, via Heavy Psych Sounds.
On the upcoming album, as expected with the Eindhoven trio, skulls get crushed by this sonic sledgehammer, but this new album also showcases a more sensitive facet from these bearded gentlemen. To cut it short, becoming a trio hasn’t taken anything away from the band’s pulverising grit and adds some extra chemistry and breathing space that takes their sound to higher levels — something that might seem impossible, but sure as hell ain’t.
Alongside the announcement of the new album, the band have released a new song from the upcoming album; the title track A Breakfast For Champions. The new song was first premiered via Outlaws Of The Sun.
