Distorted Sound Magazine: Issue 122

Issue 122 of Distorted Sound Magazine is now available!

Well, here we are. Heatwave after heatwave and festival after festival. Festival season 2025 is well and truly under way and here at Distorted Sound, we’ve been riding the wave! Gracing our cover this month I’m thrilled to reveal that Bay Area atmospheric death metallers FALLUJAH. I first discovered this band back when they burst onto the scene in 2011 with The Harvest Wombs and I’ve been a huge fan ever since! It’s been wonderful to see their evolution and I’m thrilled to have them on our cover with their career defining Xenotaph.

Elsewhere, we sit down with the likes of LORD OF THE LOST, Ukrainian punks DEATH PILL, Japanese black metal legends SIGH and MESSA, a band whose stock is soaring this year! Plus, we have new interviews with ROYALE LYNN, THE HAUNTED, MOTHER MOTHER, KNIVES and more!

We bring your our lowdown of this year’s giant Download Festival, a retrospective cast back to DEVILDRIVER‘s The Fury Of Our Maker’s Hand, spotlight new talent in SLUNG and BIG IRON and so much more. Enjoy!
