Knives announce new EP ‘REGLITTER I’
KNIVES have announced a brand new EP!
The upcoming EP, titled REGLITTER I, is the first part of a two-part project from the Bristol-based noise collective and is scheduled to be released on November 19th this year via Marshall Records. The release follows their debut album GLITTER, which dropped in May, and sees the band rework songs from that record alongside unreleased material, inspired by PARAMORE’s Re: This Is Why.
Alongside the announcement, the band have confirmed collaborations with Carson Pace (THE CALLOUS DAOBOYS), DEATH GOALS, CHEST., and C.A Francis (DITZ). Its counterpart, REGLITTER II, is scheduled for release in spring 2026.
Speaking about the project, drummer Erin Cook says, “we approached Cal (Francis) from DITZ and Carson from THE CALLOUS DAOBOYS, as we’re big fans of their vocals and lyricism and knew they could add to what felt missing. We’re now fortunate enough to be going on tour with both bands, so hopefully we will be able to bring them to life on stage.”
Vocalist Jay Schottlander adds, “DEATH GOALS response to recreating THE DAGGER especially took us by surprise. We were all expecting a super heavy hardcore song with massive guitar riffs; instead, we got huge-sounding electronic drums and synths. It was so fun hearing it for the first time.”
