Blood Countess announce new album ‘Imperatrix Sanguinis’
BLOOD COUNTESS have announced a new album!
The UK black metal band have announced their highly anticipated second album Imperatrix Sanguinis, set for release internationally on April 24th, 2026 via Dominance of Darkness Records. Arriving four years after their debut Occulta Tenebris, the band continue their dedication to the cold, merciless spirit of mid‑to‑late ’90s darkness.
True to their moniker, Imperatrix Sanguinis delves once more into the blood‑soaked legend of Elizabeth Bathory: obsession, perversion, tyranny, and hatred rendered through relentless riffing and savage execution.
To mark the announcement, the band have released the first new track, Chains of Misdeed.
