Varg announce new live album ‘Live at Wolfszeit Festival 2024’

VARG have announced a brand new album!

The German pagan metal band will release their first live album Live at Wolfszeit Festival 2024 on May 22nd, 2026 via Napalm Records. Recorded at their own Wolfszeit Festival, the release captures 16 tracks performed in front of their home crowd and will be available both as an audio album and as a Blu-ray filmed with 13 cameras for a fully immersive experience. The record follows their most recent studio album Ewige Wacht, released in 2023.

Alongside the announcement, the band have released the first single, Immer Treu, originally featured on 2023’s Ewige Wacht. The new live version highlights the band’s connection to their fans and their enduring presence within the scene.

Speaking about the song, the band shares, Immer Treu is more than a song – it’s an oath between us and our fans. When hundreds of voices sing the lines back to you in a live setting, it creates a moment that gets under one’s skin. That’s exactly the power that we wanted to convey with our first single off of this album.”
