Vomitory announce new album ‘In Death Throes’

VOMITORY have announced a brand new album!

The veteran Swedish death metal band will unleash their new full-length, In Death Throes, on April 10th via Metal Blade Records. The album serves as the follow-up to 2023’s All Heads Are Gonna Roll and continues the band’s resurgence since reforming in 2019.

Recorded across multiple studios in late 2025 and mixed and mastered by Lawrence Mackrory at Rorysound Studios, In Death Throes promises a heavier, more intense evolution of the band’s signature sound. Artwork once again comes from Giannis Nakos of Remedy Art Design.

In advance of the album’s release, the band have shared its first single, “For Gore And Country.” Speaking about the track, drummer Tobias Gustafsson states, “For Gore And Country charges forward relentlessly just like the rotting hordes in the lyrics do. Starting off with a classic VOMITORY grind, then diving headfirst into a total headbanging party, to then take off again into grind and D-beat turmoil. Oh wait! Another headbanging party towards the end of the song! For gore and country, we endure!”
