Lex Legion announce self-titled debut album
LEX LEGION have announced their debut album!
The newly formed heavy metal supergroup have revealed their self‑titled debut album, which is set for release on June 12th, 2026 via MNRK Heavy. The band features an all‑star lineup comprised of Mikkey Dee (drums), Pete Blakk (guitar), Andy La Rocque (guitar), Hal Patino (bass), and vocalist Nils K. Rue (PAGAN’S MIND), with four‑fifths of the classic late‑80s KING DIAMOND lineup reunited for the project.
Speaking on the approach behind the record, Mikkey Dee explains, “Lex Legion is totally written the way we thought in the ’80s. We wrote what we wanted, and if you liked it, that was a great bonus. If you didn’t like it, that was fine with us, too!”
Alongside the album announcement, LEX LEGION have also unveiled their debut single Sleep Eternally. Speaking about the new single, guitarist Andy La Rocque shares, “it has elements of everything on the album. The right tempo and the right kind of vocals, starting out like a fist in your face!”
