THROWN have returned with a new single!

The Swedish metalcore outfit have released Split, their long‑awaited new single, out now via Arising Empire, and marks their first new music since 2024’s EXCESSIVE GUILT. The track arrives alongside an official music video.

Urgent and stripped back, Split deals with loss of control, spiralling thoughts, and self‑doubt. Lyrically, the band keep things direct and unfiltered, capturing the mental overload of being stuck inside your own head. Sonically, the track stays true to the band’s crushing formula, built on down‑tuned riffs, relentless drums, and tightly executed breakdowns, while sounding more refined and focused than ever.
