Serpent Lord announce debut album ‘The Once Forgotten Ways of Old’

SERPENT LORD have announced their debut album!

The solo pagan black metal project will release its debut full‑length album The Once Forgotten Ways Of Old on May 29th, 2026 via Eisenwald Records. The record represents the resurrection of a vision first conceived more than twenty years ago, finally brought to life in its intended form.

Formed in 2003 by Jake Superchi (UADA, CEREMONIAL CASTINGS), SERPENT LORD was initially recorded in 2005 before being shelved indefinitely. Now, in what the project refers to as the “Year of the Snake”, the material has been re‑recorded and reimagined, preserving the primordial spirit of its original incarnation while giving it new life. The Once Forgotten Ways Of Old was recorded between 2022 and 2025 in the Pacific Northwest, engineered and mixed by Jake Superchi and mastered by Arthur Rizk. The release features artwork and the original logo created by Kris Verwimp, with photography by Peter Beste.

Alongside the album announcement, SERPENT LORD has also unveiled the first single Aries Ram.
