Flykt release new song ‘An Uncarved Block’
Swedish black metal outfit FLYKT have released a new single!
The track, titled An Uncarved Block, is taken from the band’s upcoming new album Sinister Strain, which is set for release on June 19th via Hammerheart Records. The single marks the first new material from FLYKT since their 2019 debut album Charnel Heart and subsequent EP Through the Earth and Through the Sun.
Speaking about the new single, the band shares, “the straightforward approach of this track works well as an introduction to the upcoming album. The concepts of death and rebirth – the shedding of skin and voluntary sacrifice as tools for elevation – are not only present here but are central to Sinister Strain as a whole. Come now, take form and take shape in this shrine of things to come…”
