Mourir announce new album ‘Nous, le venin’

MOURIR have announced a brand new album!

The French black metal quartet will release their second full-length album Nous, le venin on July 10th via Pelagic Records. The upcoming record follows 2022’s Disgrâce and intends to continue the band’s forward-thinking approach to black metal.

Blending elements of sludge and post-metal into their raw black metal foundation, the upcoming album was recorded in January this year with Amaury Sauvé (BIRDS IN ROW, IGORRR, PNEU) at The Apiary Studio in Laval, France.

Thematically, Nous, le venin explores the alienation and cruelty of modern society, while weaving in moments of hope and transcendence through its more melodic and expansive passages. The album artwork, created by Thomas Davezac, reflects this sense of disconnection.

In celebration of the announcement, the band have unveiled a new single, Nous, le venin, the album’s title track.
