SiM announce new album ‘HOOMAN AFTER ALL’

SIM have announced a brand new album!

The Japanese alt-metal quartet will release their new album, HOOMAN AFTER ALL, on September 2nd via UNFD. The record follows on from 2023’s PLAYDEAD and continues the band’s genre-blending evolution, building on their distinctive fusion of nü-metal, reggae, punk, and metalcore that has defined their previous work.

Speaking about the album, frontman MAH shares, “we are so pumped to announce that our new album HOOMAN AFTER ALL drops September 2! This album is our full on tribute to the prime era of rock from the late ’90s to early 2000s. It feels fresh, but at the same time, there’s this weird nostalgia running through it. We’re taking this album all over the world, so get ready. See you in the pit!”

Alongside the album announcement, SIM have also released a brand new single, BLiNDEYES (featuring Yukina from HANABIE.), accompanied by an official music video. Adding further context about the new single, MAH continues, “Mou sumimasen deha sumimasen’ means ‘Your apology won’t fix this anymore.’ Yukina added the perfect spice to my rage track. Can’t wait to tear it up live!”

In support of the new album, SIM will embark on the HOOMAN AFTER ALL World Tour, which kicks off in Japan this September before heading to North America in October and November, and the UK/Europe in early 2027. Tickets and VIP packages go on sale this Friday, May 22nd at 10am local time.
