Audrey Horne announce new album ‘Achilles’

The upcoming release, titled Achilles, is the eighth studio album from the Norwegian hard rock band and is scheduled to be released on September 4th, 2026 via Napalm Records. The record follows 2022’s Devil’s Bell and intends to continue the band’s legacy as one of Norway’s most celebrated rock exports.

Alongside the announcement, the band have released the new single Insanity, which arrives with an accompanying music video. Speaking about the new track, the band shares, “the first song that was written for the album. It‘s a classic AUDREY HORNE tune that has the energy, the twin guitars, a big chorus and a cool mid-section. The lyrics are inspired by Hallowed Be Thy Name by IRON MAIDEN. It is an attempt to say what might have happened prior to the story in that song.”
