Bloodstock Festival announce 12 new bands
Several new bands have been announced for this year’s Bloodstock Festival!
The first wave of winners from the ongoing Metal 2 The Masses finals have been confirmed to perform on the Stowford Press New Blood Stage, showcasing some of the best emerging talent from across the UK and beyond.
Set to appear on the Friday are East Anglian thrash/groove metal outfit REGICIDE, Belfast death/thrash band MICROTONAL, Birmingham winners ATARKA, and Leeds hardcore five-piece BAILED OUT.
The Saturday lineup adds Sheffield metalcore act DESCENDANCY alongside Northampton noise outfit DEAD BAIT. Closing out the weekend on Sunday are Scottish standouts CHEKHOV’S GUN, Manchester progressive metallers TECHNOLOGIST, South Coast doom-influenced act SUNK, Cyprus collective JOAKEM, and multinational death metal force KA’APER.
In addition, OF MICE & MEN have unfortunately cancelled their appearance at this year’s festival, sharing the following statement, “due to circumstances beyond our control we sadly won’t be able to make it out to Europe this summer as planned. Thanks to all the fans, festivals & promoters we were looking forward to playing for.”
Stepping in to replace them are American death metal outfit SANGUISUGABOGG, who will perform as direct support to LEPROUS on the Sophie Lancaster stage on Saturday. The band shares, “hey mate! Seems like your favorite death dealing degenerates just hocked up their hairball of a logo all over your Bloodstock flyer! We can’t wait to be in England to melt faces and rock out at Bloodstock, so pack up your broomsticks and your toast and beans and let’s party together – we couldn’t be anymore psyched!”
More bands are expected to be announced as the Metal 2 The Masses finals continue across the UK.
Bloodstock Festival 2026 is set to take place at Catton Park, Derbyshire from 6th August – 9th August 2025. Tickets are sold out, resale tickets may be available via Tixel.
