Miscreance announce new album ‘Reminiscence’

MISCREANCE have announced a brand new album!

The upcoming release, titled Reminiscence, is the second full-length album from the Italian technical death metal/thrash metal band and is scheduled to be released on August 28th, 2026 via Season of Mist. The record follows their 2022 debut Convergence and continues the band’s evolution, blending old-school tech-thrash roots with more progressive and conceptual elements.

Speaking about the new album, the band shares, “through a collective hallucination, a voyage through time led us to discover a moment in human history that was lost. Reminiscence is a testimony of what we have seen, heard, perceived and imagined, told through our own perspective on old-school, thrashy, technical death metal.”

Alongside the announcement, the band have released the new single Scalp Ceremony, which arrives with an accompanying music video.

The track showcases the band’s signature fusion of razor-sharp riffing and complex tempo shifts, while introducing expanded instrumentation and a more experimental edge, aligning with the album’s concept of a lost civilisation suspended between the primitive and the psychic.
