Melrose Avenue release new music video for ‘Cemetery Friend’
MELROSE AVENUE have released a new music video!
The new track, Cemetery Friend, features THE FUNERAL PORTRAIT and marks the latest single from the Sydney-based alternative rock band, following their breakout performance at Download Festival 2026 and the announcement of their biggest UK headline tour to date.
Blending the strengths of both bands, the new single delivers a dark and immersive sound, balancing melody, intensity, and atmosphere while exploring themes of companionship through life’s most difficult moments.
Speaking about the track, vocalist Vlado Saric shares, “we met THE FUNERAL PORTRAIT last year whilst out on tour with ICE NINE KILLS and there was just an immediate connection that saw us all radiate towards each other. They have this awesome ability to make darkness feel theatrical and when we wrote Cemetery Friend we immediately knew that was what it needed, We essentially wanted this song to feel like a car crash between the 2 acts and we are pretty sure that’s what we’ve achieved here!”
