Top 10 Bands you must watch at 2000trees Festival 2026

As the faithful return to Upcote Farm on Wednesday, July 8th for another 2000trees Festival, we’re expecting extreme temperatures and parties a-plenty for the four-day sweat-fest. Who should you brave the heat for at Trees this year though?

To recap your the headliners:

ALKALINE TRIO – replaced by DON BROCO due to ALKALINE TRIO cancelling their UK tour, from all at Distorted Sound Magazine – get well soon, Matt!

MARIACHI EL BRONX – Main Stage, Thursday – July 9th

2000trees is a fun festival – and few bands epitomise that fresh, summer feel like MARIACHI EL BRONX. Acoustic Flamenco guitars and live trumpets are an easy introduction to the festival-uninitiated. Buy an arena beer (remember: Heroes Buy Beeros) and relax into the weekend. MARIACHI EL BRONX are playing on the Main Stage at 15:10 on Thursday July 9th.

DELILAH BON – The Cave, Thursday – July 9th

A complete change of pace – DELILAH BON are for the loud and unapologetic. Outspoken and rightly so – BON calls out worldwide issues with well-placed anger. There’s no filters here; expect her to include her latest singles Illegal Aliens and Time’s Up on her lead-support slot on the Cave stage on Thursday evening.

STATIC DRESS – The Cave, Thursday – July 9th

Until recently, our next must-see were but a blur on the lineup – needless to say, STATIC DRESS are a force to be reckoned with in 2026. Do NOT miss them this weekend at 2000trees – the group are riding high off the release of their sophomore album Injury Episode, and will undoubtedly bring the energy to the Cheltenham countryside. High-octane post-hardcore goodness. Love it.

THE SKINTS – Forest Sessions, Friday – July 10th

Seemingly a staple of the UK festival circuit, THE SKINTS continue to prove that reggae ain’t dead. Close harmonies and coming up to 20 years of camaraderie forever keep THE SKINTS on our must-see list simply for the feel-good vibes. We’re praying for new material, but the evening sun, sub-bass and summer light sounds like a recipe for magic.

MALLORY KNOX – The Axiom, Friday – July 10th

It’s been eight long years since MALLORY KNOX graced the stages of 2000trees – and what a tumultuous eight years they’ve been. Having reunited since COVID with the original lineup, we’re anticipating throwbacks and more crowd interaction than you can wave a stick at. MALLORY KNOX have that back catalogue of singles where they can fill a set with crowd-pleasers and leave everybody with a smile on their faces. We’re stoked.

FUNERAL FOR A FRIEND – Main Stage, Friday – July 10th

2026 marks 25 years of FUNERAL FOR A FRIEND. Some of us of a certain age remember when Casually Dressed & Deep in Conversation released and the grip it held on an entire generation. Lucas of HOLDING ABSENCE has taken up vocal duties in recent years following the departure of Matt Davies-Kreye in 2023 – though it’s not confirmed whether he’ll be returning for this festival appearance. Be sure to see them closing the Main Stage on Friday night to re-live your teenage years with emo-bangers amongst friends.

HIGH REGARD – Forest Sessions, Saturday – July 11th

Saturday is certainly stacked – we know this. HIGH REGARD return to 2000trees after their 2024 debut. Two years and a handful of singles later, we’re expecting an even larger crowd than they enjoyed at their previous Forest Stage appearance. For fans of huge choruses and lyrics that get you right in the feels.

AS EVERYTHING UNFOLDS – The Axiom, Saturday – July 11th

It’s been a massive year for AS EVERYTHING UNFOLDS. Their senior-year album Did You Ask to Be Set Free? was released back in April, they smashed a statement main-stage festival appearance, and recently announced a string of UK dates alongside for 2027 to follow their EU run later in the year. Catch AS EVERYTHING UNFOLDS on the Axiom at 17:00 on the Saturday; not one to miss.

MARMOZETS – Main Stage, Saturday – July 11th

They’re back. We’ve waited for MARMOZETS to return since they first announced the end of their 2018 hiatus back in 2024, and their latest album Cow.War.Dice. released on May 22nd 2026. Nostalgia aside, the band are undoubtedly in a new phase – and we’re super excited to see them tear Main Stage apart. Expect to hear the oldies like Captivate You and Why Do You Hate Me?, alongside lead single A Kiss From A Mother.

NECK DEEP – Main Stage, Saturday – July 11th

As Saturday headliners – it’d be rude not to, wouldn’t it? Pop Punk stalwarts NECK DEEP are semi-fresh off the 10 year anniversary tour of Life’s Not Out To Get You, and due a new record following the success of their 2023 self-titled record.

We’ll undoubtedly be treated to songs both new and old – expect the old-guard to plea for tracks off Rain in July (hey, that’d be nice, wouldn’t it?) Having seen them plenty of times before, we’re expecting foam bricks, inflatables and a setlist worthy of the UK’s best festival.
