Misery Index release new song ‘Feral Future’

MISERY INDEX have released a new song!

The new track, Feral Future, marks the first new music from the Baltimore death metal veterans in four years. Released following the band’s return to Season Of Mist, the song blends the group’s trademark mix of death metal and grindcore with pointed social commentary, serving as an introduction to their forthcoming eighth studio album, the follow-up to 2022’s Complete Control.

Speaking about the track, vocalist and bassist Jason Netherton shares, “Feral Future is about changing the way we think about our relationship with nature. Nature isn’t something we rule over or exist outside of. It’s something we are immersed in everywhere all the time. This song champions the rewilding of damaged and corrupted human spaces and reclaims a more feral connection that respects the sublime wonder of nature.”
