Lonely The Brave announce UK shows
LONELY THE BRAVE have announced two UK headline shows!
The Cambridge alternative rock outfit have confirmed that founding vocalist Dave Jakes has rejoined the band, almost a decade after his departure in 2018. Jakes previously fronted the band’s debut album The Day’s War in 2014 and its follow-up Things Will Matter in 2016.
To celebrate the reunion, the band have announced two headline UK shows this November, marking the band’s first headline performances with Jakes in ten years. Tickets for the shows are on sale now and can be purchased here.
Speaking about the reunion, guitarist Mark Trotter shares, “the five of us reconnecting was something totally organic and unexpected. There was no big pre-conceived plan to start playing with Dave again, but it’s been the best thing ever. To all be in a rehearsal room together again, hearing his voice with the songs we wrote, being the band we were when we first started all this… It’s incredibly special and something all five of us are not taking for granted. The only reason we are here, coming back as our original lineup, is based solely on a sense of friendship, fun and freedom. It’s exciting for all of us, and we can’t wait to see you all at these two shows. They will be the first of many, but are definitely the only shows this year. Once the tickets are gone, they are gone. See you in November!”
Tour dates are as follows:
November 12th – Cambridge, Mash (with THE GREY)
November 17th – London, Bush Hall (with EYRE LLEW)
