Temperance release new music video for ‘Death: Right Before We Die’

TEMPERANCE have released a new music video!

The Italian symphonic power metal outfit have unveiled a video for Death: Right Before We Die, the second single to be taken from their upcoming new album, Arcani, which is scheduled for release on October 16th via Napalm Records.

The new track explores themes of mortality through the Tarot card Death and was inspired by an experience the band shared whilst on tour, after the restaurant they were dining in during Sabaton Cruise 2024 in Tallinn, Estonia caught fire.

Speaking about the new single, Kristin Starkey shares, “this song explores the existential threat to our mortality through the tarot card, Death. It is human nature to try to avoid this eventuality, but the ferryman always finds us. This song is about facing the inevitable ‘end’ not with despair, but by anchoring ourselves in the profound beauty of human connection and the love we share in the present moment. Ultimately, it’s a personal anthem about survival and presence. It’s a reminder to surrender to the journey, seize every single day, and remember that we have the power to define our own fate.”
